Who may use PinPoint

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. One account is intended per person, and you are responsible for keeping it secure.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the photo, note, location and truth of each report. A report that an institution may act on must be current, accurate and submitted in good faith.

Zero tolerance for abuse

Abusive content and behaviour are not accepted. Content may be removed and an account suspended or permanently closed without notice.

Content you must not submit

• Photos intended to identify, shame, harass or endanger a person.
• Sexual, hateful, threatening content or material showing or promoting violence and serious harm.
• Another person’s address, document, identity number, phone number or private information.
• Advertising, spam, political campaigning or material unrelated to a civic issue.
• Someone else’s photo, a knowingly false report or a fabricated location.
• Anything unlawful under the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Conduct that is prohibited

• Harassing, threatening or impersonating another person, or accessing their account.
• Using repeat submissions, mock GPS, staged photos or other manipulation to obtain rewards.
• Automated access, scraping, attacks or attempts to reach data that is not yours.
• Sharing your account or using another person’s account.

Moderation and reporting

Photos may be checked automatically before publication, with uncertain material sent to human review. Use the in-app flagging tools when content breaks these rules. Content flagged for personal information or abuse may be hidden immediately pending review.

Your content and licence

Your report remains yours. By submitting it, you permit PinPoint to store it, show it on a public map with your identity hidden and location shifted, and pass it, including its precise location, to the responsible institution. You may withdraw a report and delete your account.

PinCoin and Impact Points

PinCoin and Impact Points are not money, currency or property and have no value outside PinPoint. Awards may be reversed for false, duplicated, manipulated or withdrawn reports. A reward shop does not yet exist and would have separate terms.

Availability and outcomes

PinPoint is in closed testing and is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, resolution of a report or action by an institution within a particular time.

Emergencies

PinPoint is not an emergency service. If life, health or property is at risk, call 112 or the appropriate emergency service and do not rely on a PinPoint report.

Restriction and termination

Access may be restricted or terminated when these terms are breached, law requires it or the service ends. You may stop using PinPoint and delete your account at any time.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, PinPoint is not responsible for indirect loss arising from use of the service, an unresolved report or an institution’s decision. Liability that cannot legally be limited remains unaffected.

Changes and governing law

Significant changes will be communicated in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
